Starbond CoS Disc 25 mm and 30 mm; Starbond LFC Disc; The cobalt based bonding alloy Starbond CoS has proven itself as conventional dental bonding alloy for many years. Since the beginning of 2010 the material is available as milling-blank optimized for the dental CNC-milling. The material, that is produced blank by blank in a special casting technique stands out due to its fine grained homogenous structure.
Due to existing demand e.g. for special requirements when doing implant work or unusually large supraconstructions, Starbond CoS Disc is now also available in thicknesses 25 mm and 30 mm.

On the occasion of the IDS 2011, S&S Scheftner also announces the introduction of Starbond CoS as alloy powder for laser melting (Starbond CoS Powder). It is advantageous that the dental technician is thus working with a dental material proven for many years and known for its excellent bonding properties with all commonly available ceramic masses when further processing the lasermelted workpieces.

Likewise for the IDS 2011, Starbond LFC, the cobalt-basis milling-blank of Starbond LFC bonding alloy for low fusing ceramics is going to be introduced to the market.
